Admission Process & Guidelines

At Sri Ramakrishna Matriculation Higher Secondary School, we welcome students into a learning environment that nurtures academic excellence, character, and holistic growth. Admissions are open for classes from LKG to Class X, and we follow a transparent, inclusive, and child-friendly admission policy.

Eligibility Criteria:

• LKG Admission: Children who have completed 3 years as of June 30th of the academic year are eligible.
• UKG Admission: Children should be 4 years as of June 30th.
• Other Classes (I to X): Admission is based on age eligibility, performance in previous school records, and availability of seats.

Documents Required:

• Original & copy of Birth Certificate (for LKG & UKG)
• Transfer Certificate (for admissions from Class I onwards)
• Community Certificate (if applicable)
• Aadhaar Card (Student & Parent)
• Passport-size photographs – 4 copies
• Previous year’s Mark Sheet / Progress Report
• Medical Certificate (for any specific conditions or support needs)

Admission Procedure:

• Enquiry & Campus Visit
  Parents/Guardians can visit the school office during working hours to collect the admission enquiry form and understand the campus and facilities.
• Application Submission
  Duly filled admission forms must be submitted along with the required documents.
• Interaction / Entrance (if applicable)
  
  • For KG classes: Informal interaction with the child and parents.
  • For classes I and above: Basic entrance assessment to evaluate grade-appropriate learning.
• Admission Confirmation
  On successful evaluation and document verification, selected candidates will receive an Admission Confirmation Letter.
• Fee Payment
  Parents must complete the admission fee payment within the stipulated time to confirm the seat.

These activities are designed to nurture students' natural talents and develop focus, discipline, and leadership.
We ensure that every student finds a space to express themselves, discover their strengths, and build self-confidence—both inside and outside the classroom.

Right to Education (RTE) Quota:

In alignment with the Right to Education Act, the school provides 25% free seats in LKG every year to ensure inclusive education for all sections of society.

Important Guidelines:

• Admission is granted strictly based on merit, availability of seats, and adherence to age criteria.
• Admission once confirmed is non-refundable and withdrawal requires 3 months’ notice or fees in lieu.
• No discrimination is made between students admitted under general quota or RTE — all receive equal care and academic attention.
