At Sri Ramakrishna Matriculation Higher Secondary School, discipline is the backbone of our academic and moral framework. We strive to maintain a respectful, orderly, and secure environment for effective learning. The following rules and guidelines are applicable to all students and are to be supported by parents for smooth and successful schooling.
Students must arrive at school before 8:45 AM. Latecomers will not be permitted without valid reasons.
Minimum 90% attendance is required. Absentees must submit a leave letter signed by a parent or guardian.
Students suffering from contagious diseases should refrain from attending school until fully recovered.
Absence during exams is permitted only with a medical certificate. No retests will be conducted without valid justification.
Students must bring their own lunch; no outside food deliveries allowed.
A spoon and napkin must be brought to maintain hygiene.
Damaging furniture, scribbling on walls, or tampering with school infrastructure is strictly forbidden. Students will be liable for the cost of any damage.
Students must maintain silence when moving between classes. Shouting, teasing, or unruly behavior will invite disciplinary action.
Books must be returned within 15 days. Damaged or lost books must be replaced or paid for.
Repeated misconduct, disrespect to staff, or negligence in studies can result in suspension or dismissal.
Students must wear complete, clean uniforms daily.
Boys must maintain short (police cut) hairstyles.
Girls should neatly tie their hair with black ribbons. Fringes are not allowed.
Improper dressing, casual wear, or accessories like fancy watches or jewelry are strictly prohibited.
Parents should update the school office with any change in phone number or address immediately.
Encourage your child to respect teachers, staff, and fellow students. Politeness and courtesy must begin at home.
Train your child to greet elders, say “Good Morning,” “Excuse Me,” “Thank You,” and “I’m Sorry” appropriately.
Ensure that your child is well-groomed and in proper uniform before leaving for school.
Inform the school in advance about any health issues. Relevant medical certificates must be submitted if your child is on leave.
Refrain from calling students out during class hours or bringing forgotten items.
Cooperate with the school authorities in enforcing discipline and providing the best for your child’s future.
Adherence to these rules by both students and parents is essential in maintaining the school’s culture of excellence, safety, and moral integrity.
